A series of explosions occurred in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, AFP reported.
According to the news agency, at least three explosions were heard.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defense activated the National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies, alerting Riyadh residents of a potential threat. The agency later announced that the alert had been lifted.
